Get Ripped Muscles

Wishing you could get ripped muscles like the ladies and gents in the fitness magazines? Well, I’m here to tell you that with a lot of hard work and dedication you CAN get the ripped muscles you dream of. This week I will discuss the steps you will need to take to get started on the right track.

Last week, we discussed exercises that were specific to the chest area. This week, however, we will be looking at it from the “big picture” perspective. If you started the suggested exercise regimen from last week with added nutrition changes and supplements, you may soon notice that for you to get ripped muscles, gaining fat is at most times is unavoidable. Don’t worry, you will eventually get to a cutting or trimming point as you continue your routines. To get ripped muscles, the goal is to lower your body fat percentage while toning and working what is left.

Get Ripped Muscles by Reducing Calories

Body fat is reduced through reducing the calories you take in while increasing the calories you are burning through your exercise regimen. At the cutting or toning phase, you have to not only watch calories but the type of fat and carbs you are consuming. You wouldn’t want to get ripped muscles and lose them after getting comfortable and complacent. Instead of having three big meals a day, have many more meals but make them lighter and healthy to keep your metabolism high. One mistake we do, to our everlasting detriment I might add, is fail at regulating our diets because we set restrictions that tempt us not to follow them. If you feel like you can’t eat more than 1-3 times a day, you are essentially telling your brain to eat as much as you can because there won’t be many more chances to do so. To get ripped muscles, you must learn to overcome this.

One of the more effective ways of burning the fat that doesn’t let us get ripped muscles is through cardio workouts. A healthy and moderate regimen would include three to four days of 15-30 minutes of an intense workout. Your workout would vary depending on which area of muscles you are working to get ripped. Most gyms offer a personal trainer consult for free with membership and I suggest you take advantage of this to ask them which workouts will benefit you the most to get ripped muscles specifically in your goals.

Get Ripped Muscles with Vitamins and Supplements

There are many vitamins out there that are used along with nutrition and exercise to get ripped muscles. The most widely used in the body building world are Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, Thiamine, Vitamin D, Niacin, Vitamin E, Vitamin A, Riboflavin, Biotin, and Vitamin B12. These vitamins serve to get ripped muscles by doing everything from serving as antioxidants to helping produce energy, and improving the nervous system and receptors.

Supplements that are used to get ripped muscles include protein powders. Amino acids are sometimes used to assist the protein. Creatine is also widely used to increase water absorption and to boost energy and stability. Carb powders are sometimes used when needing to bulk up along with dextrose and maltodextrin. Milled oats provide a slow carb effect and contain fiber. It would be wise for you to consult your doctor to see which combination of these would best benefit you based on your personal history and proposed goals.

Why Get Ripped Muscles?

One of the most important things to consider when wanting to get ripped muscles is why you are trying to achieve that. Believe it or not, your answer will help determine your success. People who do it for themselves, whether to feel healthier or to raise their self-esteem are more likely to succeed. If persistent, your long journey can lead you to get ripped muscles long-term.
